Review of High Quality Experimental Mathematics Research is a synthesis of
mathematical research prepared by NCITE for the California State Board of Education.
The research was conducted for the purpose of informing the Board of high quality
studies in a manner that will facilitate: the adoption of curricular materials
by the Curriculum Development and Suplemental Materials Commission, the revision
of the California Mathematics Framework by the State Board of Education, and
any other purpose best served by empirically established and verified research

Sunshine State Standards, Grade Level Expectations, Course Descriptions, Electronic
Curriculum Planning Tools, etc. Choose Assessment and Evaluation for information
relating to testing; this includes FCAT Mathematics Item and Performance Task
Specifications, released FCAT items, etc. Regarding the Curriculum Planning
Tool, this tool may be downloaded. It provides lesson plans that are keyed to
the Sunshine State Standards and a format for teachers to add their own lesson
plans. Some activities are interdisciplinary. Once downloaded, there are additional
Learning Activities that can be imported to the tool. A teacher can pick and
choose activities and add as desired to create a file of lesson plans.
